Comfortable, effective, removable and invisible braces!
Invisalign is the award-winning, new-generation way to correct a wide range of orthodontic issues, so that you gain the appearance and functionality benefits of properly aligned teeth.
Straighter teeth contribute to a beautiful smile. They also work better, so that you can chew food efficiently. And they make dental hygiene easier, because you can floss and brush more effectively.
Suitable for most people, from teenagers to adults of any age, Invisalign braces are comfortable, effective, removable, and (best of all) invisible.
What is Invisalign®?
In 1999 the revolutionary dental product known as Invisalign was launched, inspired by research conducted at Stanford University in California. Invisalign comprises of ultra-thin, removable, transparent plastic aligners that fit snugly over your teeth and gently ease them into a better position. Every two weeks the aligners are replaced, causing the teeth to gradually straighten over time.
In contrast to traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear and metal free. There are no sharp wires to dig into your gums and sensitive mouth areas. Additionally, they’re removable, which makes it easy to eat, drink and maintain your oral hygiene.
In most cases, a full Invisalign treatment takes between 6 to 18 months. During treatment you need to wear the aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours a day. You’ll take the aligners out to eat and clean your teeth. Every week you’ll move to a new set of aligners, a process that will continue until your teeth are in the optimum position. Even before the treatment is complete, you’ll begin to notice an improvement in your teeth’s alignment, leading to a better and more confident smile.
Since its introduction, Invisalign has gained immense popularity worldwide and millions of success stories. The product range has expanded from the original Invisalign aligners to include Invisalign Express, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Comprehensive , catering to a variety of different needs.
Straighter teeth with minimal discomfort
Invisalign braces are much less painful than traditional braces because they are made of smooth and comfortable plastic. Additionally, Invisalign aligners are custom-made for your mouth, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit.
Comfortable, effective, removable and invisible braces
The biggest advantage of Invisalign aligners is their invisibility. It means your teeth can be straightened without anyone noticing you’re undergoing orthodontic treatment. Each set of aligners is custom-made from precise scans of your teeth, so they fit perfectly and are engineered to gently (and almost invisibly) move your teeth into a better position.
Why get your teeth properly aligned?
If you think that having straight teeth is just a vanity thing, think again. There are several health reasons to get your teeth properly aligned. Here’s a quick summary of benefits:
- Easier to clean: When teeth are aligned properly, they’re easier to clean. This can prevent the build up of plaque, tartar and harmful bacteria, which can lead to tooth decay, gum disease and other oral health problems.
- Better chewing: Teeth that are properly aligned can work together more effectively when chewing, making it easier to break down food and digest it properly.
- Speech improvement: Properly aligned teeth can also improve speech, as they allow for clearer pronunciation of words and sounds.
- Improved confidence: When you have a straight, symmetrical smile, it can improve your confidence and self-esteem. You may feel more comfortable smiling and interacting with others, which can lead to better social and professional opportunities.
The problems that Invisalign can solve
- Crowded teeth: Invisalign can help to straighten teeth that are overcrowded, which makes teeth difficult to clean, so more prone to decay and gum disease.
- Gaps between teeth: Invisalign can close gaps between teeth, which can improve the appearance of your smile.
- Bite problems: Invisalign can correct bite problems, such as overbite, underbite and crossbite.
- Relapse after braces: Invisalign can also be used to correct minor relapse cases of teeth shifting after braces or other orthodontic treatment.
