Dental implants cost in NZ vary depending on what you’re having done. From a single tooth through to a full set of implants, there is a range of costs. The cost of one dental implant and crown is between NZD$5000 and NZD$8000. This cost includes all the basic surgical requirements of your implant.

If you need more than one tooth replaced, it’s not always a case of double the cost. For instance, three teeth in a row at the top need two implants and an implant-retained bridge which costs between NZD$11,000 and NZD$13,000.

Another lower cost dental implant option is snap-on dentures. These implant retained over-dentures have titanium rods inserted in your jaw, but the dentures are clip-in. This is cheaper than permanent dentures but a far superior solution than traditional dentures.
